I’ve always been fascinated by systems and mechanics—seeing how individual components serve unique roles to contribute to a greater whole has intrigued me for as long as I can remember. System design intrigues me because there’s always a way to make processes more efficient, responsive, and reliable. My love for open-source software comes from its ability to empower users, giving them the freedom to meet their service needs on their own terms.

Looking back, it was almost inevitable that I’d find my way into the home automation industry. It’s the perfect field where I can apply system design techniques to practical, everyday living. Smart living, at its best, promises comfort, convenience, and peace of mind, as if your home itself were a living, adapting entity. However, I’ve often found that "smart" living today doesn’t quite live up to the idea that people are sold on. Through Greentech and the Zenith Automation Group, I’m committed to helping realize true intelligent living space, as well as homes that embody the principles of the "Open Home."
